That means 16 weeks to go. We are 60% through this pregnancy. 3/5 of the way to meeting Tot!
This past week, Tot seems to have grown quite a bit stronger. His kicks are far more frequent and far more powerful. My belly has popped out noticeably more as well. This week I've also had some terrible sugar cravings. We've since eradicated the crap food from the house to help keep me in line.
I also started yoga. Unfortunately, the experience isn't what I had hoped for. I'm crossing my fingers that next week will be better. This week, the remnants of my cold made the regulated breathing absolutely unbearable. In addition, every time I put my head below my waist I was instantly engulfed by acid reflux. Yuck. So, next week I will not eat beforehand and hope that change will bring about a more pleasant experience.
To add a bit of insult to injury, I had the 'flux all night last night even after I was done hanging my head. I think I consumed 1/2 of the bottle of T.ums last night. We've been calling them my "candy" because I need 2-3 every night at bed time, but last night was outrageous!
The last week hasn't been as miserable as the last two paragraphs imply. I love to feel how Tot is growing, and we are looking forward to getting more done at the house this weekend in preparation for his arrival. 16 weeks to go!

I can't believe how fast time is flying! You need to have E take a pic of your adorable belly so we can all see how cute you look pregnant!
I got to be a antacid expert during my pregnancies. . .try the Tum.s Smoothie.s, they're awesome!
I still have them in my desk drawer at work, and in my nightstand!
Hope yoga gets better. It sure sounds cool.
Wow - time is flying!!
I give you so much credit for trying yoga now, even though the experience seems a little trying.
Lois had horrible reflux and ended up sleeping sitting up for a time.
Good luck!
I had bad heart burn every night when I was pregnant. I had to take 2-3 Tums before bed too. I had them right by the bed, and we would joke about them being my midnight snack. Definately not fun!
I am 25 weeks and my baby's kicks are also really becoming powerful. Isn't it the most amazing feeling though!
I hope yoga gets better and you eventually need less "candy."
File this away to tell Tot when he's being a pain -- "mommy went through acid reflux for you...." ;-)
Ditto alissa. We need belly pics. It's a hard balance with yoga and pregnancy I imagine. You really shouldn't eat for 3-4 hours before yoga, yet you're supposed to eat every few hours with a baby! Hope it gets better for you! Happy 60% there!
Sorry about the heartburn! Z.antac was my friend when I was pregnant. I got bad heartburn daily, and T.ums didn't cut it. I recommend it if it gets really bad. I asked my friend who is a pharmacist and she said it was fine to take during pregnancy.
Hope the yoga is better next time. I loved doing pre-natal yoga. It's amazing how the hormones make you so flexible!
