We are going to the surgeon's clinic today for our first check up since the NICU! We both think little A has gained weight and is growing like a weed. Fingers crossed that that is the truth!
He has been verosusly hungry in the past few days. We are on such a tight feeding regimen it is hard to sooth him. Hopefully we will have more clarity on how to increase his feeding as he grows!
Update:
HE GREW! We left the hospital weighing 6 pounds 12 ounces and now he is 7 pounds 7 ounces! They say he is looking great! We are so proud of him.

Oh, I've been wanting to comment since you were given the OK to go home, but things have been nuts. HOORAH for you both & little A! I can only begin to imagine your relief. Somehow, things that can seem insurmountable elsewhere loose some of their impossibility when at home. Fingers crossed that A gains lots! xoxo.

Asher, forget the doctor's feeding schedule. I know where your moms hide the good stuff....cookies, chips, candy, pizza so when your stomach growls just say the word and I'll meet you on the deck for real food. I even know how to mulch a Snicker bar so it looks like formula. Congratulations for bulking-up and being healthy. Hugs and love. Grandpa
